Together, we’ll explore the rich ecology of the Tijuana River Valley, learn about local water challenges, and discover community-driven solutions that strengthen our resilience to climate change. Along the trail, participants will hear stories of how border communities face pollution, flooding, and climate impacts and how collaborative action is helping create a more resilient watershed.From stormwater solutions to green infrastructure, this walk highlights the vital connection between healthy waterways, thriving wildlife, and strong communities.
This is an intermediate hike and an opportunity to explore and learn about this unique place. We’ll hike the East Mesa Loop, approximately 2 miles with 300 feet of elevation gain, with plenty of stops along the way.
