Join us for a free public event on Saturday, October 10, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. at the Tijuana Estuary Visitors Center for an afternoon celebrating the remarkable wildlife and natural beauty of our region.

The program will feature presentations by two outstanding local nature experts:

Ernie Cowan — Acclaimed nature writer, photographer, and longtime contributor to The San Diego Union-Tribune. Cowan has spent decades exploring and documenting the wildlife and wild places of Southern California and beyond. His engaging stories and photographs offer a unique perspective on the natural world around us.

Charles Gailband — A respected raptor expert and educator who has shared his knowledge of birds of prey with audiences throughout San Diego. His work provides an opportunity to better understand and appreciate some of the region’s most fascinating predators.
