Branch Managers at Work
Many birds have been busy collecting suitable nesting material to prepare for the arrival of their chicks. For the osprey, this means sprucing up their previous nests with long sticks, grasses, algae, and other materials. After a few years of adding new materials to their nest, the nest can end up weighing hundreds of pounds! The osprey will lay three eggs, and at least one or two will fledge successfully.
